ROCKWOOD – The Township of Guelph-Eramosa will host its third annual Party in the Park on Aug. 1 at Rockmosa Park, in Rockwood.
Festivities begin at 5pm, with more than 3,000 visitors expected from across the township and Southwestern Ontario.
“Each year this event gets bigger and better as we offer something different and exciting for all ages.” said Robin Milne, director of parks and recreation.
“I love hearing stories about residents that haven’t seen each other since their kids were in ball, soccer or whatever together and they are able to reconnect at this great community event.”
The township expressed its thanks for sponsorship support from Corey Young Insurance Group – The Cooperators and Tammy Samuels from Remax “Tammy Sells Rockwood”, which is enabling the growth of this free event for the third year in a row.
“Party in the Park is quickly becoming one of the most anticipated community events in Rockwood,” said Mayor Chris White.
“I encourage everyone to come out and enjoy this fantastic event which offers something for the whole family to enjoy.”
Party in the Park will include live music, kids’ activities, food trucks, buskers and fireworks.
