GUELPH – More than 750 riders, plus hundreds of volunteers and sponsors, came out on June 23 for the 6th annual Tour de Guelph presented by Scotiabank.
The $125,000 (net) raised makes it the most successful yet, bringing the six-year total to more than $450,000.
For Guelph General Hospital, it has funded or helped fund crucial equipment. This year, the hospital’s share will go towards a sophisticated centralized cardiac monitoring system.
A portion of the proceeds is also distributed to dozens of community organizations and programs through the Rotary Clubs of Guelph South and Guelph Trillium.
