passed away peacefully at his residence in Arthur on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband for 63 years to the late Glenna (Allen) Orr (2014). Dearest father of Bonnie and Garnett Rooney of Waterloo, Helen Orr of Arthur, the late Robert Orr (2007) and Betty Orr of New Hamburg and Bruce and Angie Orr of Mount Forest. Cherished grandfather of Dana (Sean), Andrea (Rod), Danielle (Johnny), Kristen (Dale), David (Julia) and Mathew. He will be dearly missed by his nine great grandchildren. Brother-in-law of Doreen Orr, Laverne Allen, Willis Allen and Kathy Allen. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and good friend Ken Chapman. Predeceased by his twin sister Glenn in infancy, sister Audrey and Eddie Schandlen, brother Bill Orr, and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Joyce and Ken Graham, Harold Allen, Leonard Allen and Gloria Allen. The family received friends at the Crawford Funeral Chapel, Arthur on Friday May 24. The Funeral Service of Remembrance was held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 10:30am. Private family interment in Belsyde Cemetery Fergus. As expressions of sympathy donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Prince Arthur Lodge #334 conducted a Masonic Service in the funeral home on Friday at 6:15pm.
