GUELPH – The Ministry of Education has approved the school year calendars for the 2019-20 school year for elementary and secondary schools in the Wellington Catholic District School Board,
Trustees initially approved the draft school year calendars at the March meeting of the board, which was then submitted to the Ministry of Education for final approval.
Both calendars have 194 school days, including seven professional activity days during the year.
Ten instructional days have been scheduled for secondary exams.
Students will start the school year on Sept. 3. The last day of school will be June 25, 2020 for elementary students and June 24, 2020 for secondary students.
The Christmas break will be from Dec. 23 to Jan. 3 and March Break will be from March 16 to 20.
