of Palmerston passed away peacefully on Friday, February 8, 2019 in her 78th year. Beloved wife of the late Carl Kirkwood (2003). Loving mother of Karen Kirkwood Cassel of Listowel, Sharon Kirkwood of Palmerston and Bill Kirkwood of Palmerston. Cherished grandmother of Jayson, Christine, Michelle, Mike, Tom, Robyn, and Samantha. She will be dearly missed by her nine great grandchildren. Sister of Lois Walker of Guelph and Doreen McIntyre of Acton. Predeceased by one great granddaughter Ava, her brother Fred Landry and sister Lorna Norrie. To honour Dorothy’s wishes cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston on Sunday, February 17, 2019 from 1:00 to 4:00pm. Spring interment in Palmerston Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Palmerston Hospital Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
