The Grand River Mustangs Peewee 2 team came home from the Jason Cripps Memorial Christmas Tournament with the gold medal after defeating Wilmot Wolverines 1 by a score of 4-3 in overtime on Dec. 30. The Mustangs played hard throughout the tournament, winning 4 -3 vs the Cambridge Roadrunners and 4-0 vs the Kitchener Lady Rangers Red, and losing only one game 2-1 against the Wolverines 1 in round robin play.
