MELTON, Ellis Passed away at Palmerston & District Hospital on Monday, August 20, 2018 at the age of 90. James Ellis Melton was the husband of Ernestine Melton, and father of Lloyd Melton of Palmerston, and Marion and Ken Brock of Harriston, and father-in-law of Kathy Melton of Harriston. Remembered by his grandchildren Kristine and Troy Anger, Kimberley Melton, Jeremy and Kerri Brock, and Jessica Brock, and by his great-grandchildren. Alexis Anger, Connor Anger, Colten Anger, and Karson Brock. Brother of Ruth Strong, and Frank and Katherine Melton. Survived also by his nieces and nephews. Ellis was predeceased by his son Glen Melton and his sister Jean Carnahan. Friends may call at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Palmerston Evangelical Missionary Church on Friday, August 24 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Phil Des Jardines officiating. Interment in Harriston Cemetery.
