KINGSBURY, Leona Mary – At Eden House Care Facility, on Thursday, June 27, 2018. Leona Mary (Bolton) Kingsbury, in her 81st year, was the beloved wife of 50 years of the late Edward Kingsbury (2009). She was the loving mother of Tim Kingsbury and his wife Julie of Nassagaweya, and Sandy Boreham of Guelph. Leona was the proud grandmother of Jenny and her husband John Latter, and Daniel Kingsbury, and great-grandmother of Gracie, Riley and Kylie. She was the dear sister of Danny Bolton and his wife Kathy, Paul Bolton, Jack Bolton, and of the late Joyce and her late husband Harry Seim. Survived by nieces and nephews. Leona was born and raised in Rockwood and she enjoyed giving back to the community. She was President and founding member of the Rockwood Lioness Club. Throughout her life, Leona volunteered with numerous organizations. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Rockwood Chapel, 117 Guelph St., Rockwood, where the family received friends On Tuesday, July 3, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Leona was held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass took place at Sacred Heart Church, Rockwood on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at 10 a.m. Interment Eden Mills Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Alzheimer Society or to the Rockwood Lioness Club would be appreciated by the family.
