GREENWOOD, Perry Ballard At Headwaters Health Care Centre, in his 87th year, Perry Ballard Greenwood, husband for 61 years to Lorna (Ellis) Greenwood. Loved father of Dale and Alice (Sikma), Paul, Janet, and Michael and Anne (Lewis). Proud grandfather of Alex, Faegen, and Saskia. Brother-in-law of Ross Jackson, Erland Greenwood, Joan Greenwood, Betty Ellis, and Stuart Douglas. Pre-deceased by Doug and Gladys Greenwood, Gladys and Orville Darroch, Howard Greenwood, Reta and Frank Horton, Lloyd Greenwood, and Dorothy Jackson. Perry was well known in Orangeville as one of the “sawdust twins.” Together with work partner, the late Frank Wood, he completed countless carpentry jobs in and around the Orangeville area. Farmer at heart. Lifetime member of Maple Leaf Lodge #57 of the I.O.O.F. According to Perry’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Perry’s life will be held at a time to be determined, when the weather turns nicer. Memorial donations, if desired, gratefully received by Headwaters Health Care Centre or Parkinson Canada. A tree will be planted in memory of Perry in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville.
