ALEXANDER, Audrey Bernice (nee Salter) of Palmerston and formerly R.R. #1 Gowanstown passed away peacefully at the Royal Terrance Residential, Palmerston on Monday, January 29, 2018 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Ross John Alexander (2012) for 65 years. Dear mother of Wesley and Lynda Alexander of Palmerston, Jane and Bill Hutchinson of Wallaceville, Murray and Karen Alexander of Gorrie, Bruce and Jean Alexander of Listowel and Dale and Angela Alexander of Gowanstown. Loving grandmother of Chris Alexander (Dee) of Emo, Josh and Jacqui Alexander of Gowanstown, and Shannon and David Harris of Cambridge; Laurie and Clint Komenda of Wellesley, Steven and Jenn Hutchinson of Belmore, Devin and Ryan Walsh of London; Anthony Alexander of Gorrie and Terri Alexander of Wingham; Mike Alexander of Atwood, Sarah and Nate Smith of Atwood, Matt and Crystal Alexander of Atwood; Shauna Alexander (Andrew) of Wroxeter, Stephanie and Tyler Alexander both of R.R. #1 Gowanstown. Cherished grandmother of 24 great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Sister-in-law of Don Alexander of Wallaceville. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents John Wesley and Margaret Salter, siblings Carl and Margaret Salter, Cora and Gordon Cherrey, Russell and Marion Wilson, Gordon and Audrey Wilson, brother-in-law William Alexander and sister-in-law Ellen Alexander. The family will receive friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston on Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Palmerston United Church on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Spring interment Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
