BRIDE, Don Passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness at Caressant Care on August 10th, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Irene (nee Fairweather), 2004. Dear father of Donna Jamieson (Lloyd), Lorraine Bride and William Bride (Michelle). “Grandpaw” to Amy and Bryan Jamieson of Arthur, ON. Sadly missed by his sister Carol Rogers (Don) of Belle River, ON and sister-in-law Mary Kay. Predeceased by sister Grace Gedcke (Wilf), brothers George (Edith) and Harry. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Don owned and operated a towing and auto parts business in Elora for almost four decades. After retiring he spent time playing his banjo, writing poetry and visiting with family and friends. There will be a memorial service for Don at Knox Presbyterian Church, 55 Church St, East, Elora on Monday, August 28th, 2017 at 2 p.m. Visitation one hour prior and committal service following at the Elora Cemetery. If desired donations to Knox Presbyterian Church, Groves Memorial Hospital or a charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
