MACDONALD, Joan (Dowdall) Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at the age of 73 yrs. after a brief illness. Beloved wife of Larry for 51 years. Loving mother of Lisa Allen (Craig) and Kristi Hall (Chris). Much loved Nana to Kaitlyn, Matthew and Jenna Allen and Kassidy and Carley Hall. Loving sister of John Dowdall (Joanne), Terry Smydo (Ed), Carole Rogler (John deceased), Sharon Monahan (Gerald), Betty Giles (Don), Roger Dowdall (Robert), Shawnna Williams (Rick). Predeceased by her parents Dorothy and John Dowdall, siblings and their spouses: Marie Quinn (Frank), Jim Dowdall (Linda), Leo Dowdall (Elaine). Joan will be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews and friends. Joan’s family received relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener on Friday, July 14th. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Anthony Daniel R.C. church in Kitchener on Saturday, July 15th 2017.
