DELANEY, Betty (nee Hamilton) of Erin in her 77th year died peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 14th, 2017 with her beloved husband of 55 years, Doug Delaney by her side. Loving Mother of Brenda VanZoelen (Jeff), Brent Delaney (Tracie) and the late Julie Wheeler (Ron). Proud Grandma of Meaghan and Matthew. Adored sister of Marion Armstrong (Duncan) and Wilma Brown (Clarence). Predeceased her brother Jimmy and parents Joseph and Velma Hamilton. Dear sister-in-law to Joanne and the late Gord Delaney. Betty will be sadly missed by her dear friend Kelley Rosset and all her extended family and friends. Resting at the Butcher Family Funeral Home, 5399 Main St. S., Erin where the visitation was held on Monday June 19, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service took place on Tuesday, June 20th, 2017 at 2:00p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Internment at Erin Union Cemetery, immediately following the service.
