MARTIN, David – West Garafraxa Township passed away peacefully at the Grand River Hospital, Kitchener on Saturday, June 17, 2017 in his 83rd year. Cherished husband of Mary Martin for 58 years. Dear father of Cathy Strong and her fiance Robert Timmermans of Saskatchewan and the late Earl Martin (2009), and his wife Kathryn Martin of Mount Forest. Grandfather of Katelynn, John and Leah, Keri, Jim, Keith,William, Sarah and Adam, Rachel and Joel and Lydia. Great grandfather of Payton, Marissa and Norah. Brother of Margaret and Earl Graves of Elmvale. Brother-in-law of David E. and Judy Martin of Elora. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Mary Martin and by his mother-in-law and father-in-law Earl and Winnie Martin. The family received friends at the Crawford Funeral Chapel, 243 George Street Arthur on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service was held in the Metz United Church on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Interment Greenfield Cemetery.
