AITCHISON, Edith C. (nee Bosomworth) passed away peacefully on June 4 at the Wellington Terrace, Elora in her 99th year. Loving wife of the late Morley Aitchison (1990), daughter of the late Robert Currie and Ina (Ewen) Bosomworth. Predeceased by sisters and their spouses Beatrice (John) Down of New Port Richey Fla., Jean (Jack) Wright of Elora and Ina (Andrew) Gordon of Cambridge. Also predeceased by niece Diane (Dwight) Dew of Chesapkeake, Va. A much loved and adored Aunt of Danny (Anne), Christine, Alex (Verna) and Roger Wright of Elora, George (Beth) Wright of Brussels, Richard (Skandi) Gordon of Toronto, Bruce Gordon of Cambridge, and Jane (Bruce) Shorney of Ayr. Lovingly remembered by 17 grandnieces and nephews, 19 great-grand nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Elora United Church and an Associate Member of Bridgenorth United Church. Following employment with Beatty Bros., GSW and the Ontario Government where she served faithfuly in several Ministries, Edith and Morley retired in Peterborough area. Later she moved to Guelph and then more recently to Elora to be near family members. The family received friends at the Graham Giddy Funeral Home in Elora prior the service on June 8, 2017.
