MOODIE, Blanche Christina (McEnery) (1926-2017). Passed peacefully on March 30, 2017 at the age of 91 in Mississauga, surrounded by family. Predeceased by her loving husband Ron Moodie in 1982. Blanche will be sadly missed by her children, Craig of Niagara Falls, Karen and Kim Bennett of Toronto, and Scott and David Muir of Ameliasburgh. Blanche is survived by Joan McEnery of Erin, Darlene (Moodie) Augustus of Ottawa, and Calvin Moodie. Predeceased by her parents Fred and Ethel McEnery, brother Bob, and sister Merle (Bob Lovell). Blanche was born on March 15, 1926 to Fred and Ethel McEnery of Erin. She grew up with her brother Bob and sister Merle (Lovell) in Erin. She married Ron Moodie in September 1948 and had three children. She was baptized and married in Burns Presbyterian church where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday school. Blanche participated in many recreational activities including curling, home, and school. Ron was the postmaster in Erin from 1949-1982. Blanche lived in Erin until 1984 when she moved to Richmond Hill to be closer to her children. In 2005 she moved to Heritage Glen Retirement Home in Mississauga. Cremation has taken place and there will be no formal funeral or visitation. Arrangements entrusted to the Butcher Family Funeral Home, 5399 Main Street, Erin, Ontario.
