WATSON, E, Irene.Peacefully on Saturday January 21, 2017 at The Elliott Community, Guelph, in her 98th year. Irene was the beloved wife of the late Lionel Watson (1995), loving mother of Phyllis Trimble (Charles), Alex Watson (Ofelia), Larry Watson (Liz), Charles Watson (Alicja), adoring gramma of Noel (Jen), Jenn (Paul), Marc, Erin, Lanny, Carrie, Derrick (Lindsey), Courtney, Brandon (Heather) and the late Matt and great-gramma of Teagan, Emma, Lucas, Hailee, Carson and Filip. Irene will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Irene was a life member of the Erin Agriculture Society. The family would like to express a heart-felt thank-you to all the staff at The Elliott Community for their amazing care. Friends were invited to Butcher Family Funeral Home, Monday January 23, 2017 from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Tuesday January 24, 2017 from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. A funeral service took place on Tuesday January 24, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
