WOODS, Norman, of Arthur passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at the Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus on Monday September 26, 2016 at the age of 65. Beloved husband of Donna (Wood). Loving father Bev and Mac Young of Guelph and Brenda and Matt Morell of Arthur. Dearest grandfather of Hannah, Gretchen and Eleanor. Brother of Phyllis Rendall of Arthur, Jim and Vicky Woods of Arthur, Larry and Mary Lynn Woods of Guelph. Cherished nephew of Aunty Lily. Son-in-law of Jean Wood of Arthur. Brother-in-law of Tom and Cindy Wood of Moorefield, Frank and Donna Wood of Arthur, Ron and Anita Wood of Fergus and Marg and Moe Ghandour of Lebanon. Fondly remembered by his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Melvin and Lucille Woods, brother Bill Woods, sister Karen Woods, brother-in-law Duke and father-in-law Tom Wood and Ross Irvine and brother-in-law Jim Wood. To honour Norm’s wishes cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held in the Greenfield Cemetery, Arthur on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #226, Arthur.
