REES, Connie; Passed away suddenly at Hamilton General Hospital, Hamilton on Friday, July 8th, 2016. Connie Ruth Rees (Christie), of Mount Forest and formerly of Georgetown, in her 53rd year. Beloved wife of Fraser Rees. Loving and devoted mother of Amanda Rees and Sherri Rees both of Mount Forest. Cherished grandmother of Jayden. Loving daughter of Terry and Bernice Christie. Dear sister of Dawn and Patrick Tunney and Laura and Tim Murdock. Sister-in-law of Cyril and Anne Rees, Norman “Butch” and Carole Rees, Wayne and Dorothy Rees, Pam Rees, Lance Rees and Alpha Larocque. Connie was a special aunt to many nephews and nieces. Predeceased by her parents-in-law Norman and Rita Rees and her sister-in-law Dallas Larocque. Visitation was held at the Mount Forest United Church on Tuesday, July 12th from 1 – 2:45 p.m., followed by a celebration of Connie’s life at 3 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
