ORD (nee Zess), Constance Ruth (Connie), August 27, 1940 – May 30, 2016; Beloved daughter of the late Alex and Lorella (Lo) (nee Stutt) Zess. She was predeceased by her husband Keith Alexander Ord (1989). Survived by her sons, Travis (Julie Ball), Bruce (Joan Dunn), Darron (Cindy) and grandchildren Mitchell, Lindsey, Amy, Megan, Chase, Hayley and Aleksander. Predeceased by her sister Laurie Spark (2010). Much loved by sister Mary Elliot and Greg, her brother Peter and Sharon. Connie had many beloved friends including some very special people, Barb Clark, Sandra Riley, Audrey Mast, Carol Paddock, Mary Mclean, Donna Laking and Deb MacPherson. Please join family and friends for a celebration of Connie’s life at the Puslinch Community Centre, Aberfoyle on Sunday June 26 at 12 p.m., where we will share a home cooked hot buffet provided by the Mast family. Friends of Connie as well as Mount Carmel Zion United Church are home cooking the good stuff, the dessert, which as you know was Connie’s favourite! We will be inviting you to share stories of how Connie may have touched your life or made you laugh. Thank you to all of the incredible nurses, staff and volunteers at Hospice Wellington Guelph who made her last few weeks a warm and welcoming place to rest. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Wellington Guelph would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted in memory of Connie Ord in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 18, 2016 at 2:30 pm.
