Beloved husband of the late Norma (Telfer) Wenzel. Father of Calvin and Karen Wenzel of Palmerston, and Carol and Raymond Durrant of Guelph. Grandfather of Calen and Karley Wenzel, and Josephine and Alexander Durrant.Brother of Mervyn and Fran Wenzel of Palmerston, Marguerite Hartung of Wallaceville, Mildred and Bill Rivers of Ingersoll, and Bernice Askett of Listowel, and brother-in-law of Bruce Telfer of Kitchener, Marie and Norman Bell of Milverton, and Sydney Lane.Predeceased by his grandson Joseph Durrant in infancy, sister Gladys (Percy) Gedcke, brothers Orville Wenzel and Earl Wenzel, and brothers and sisters-in-law Roy Hartung, Elwin Askett, Raymond (Shirley) Telfer, Shirley (Earl) Johnson, Jean and Alex Arnold, Ken (Joyce) Telfer, Glen Telfer, Inez Telfer, and Joyce (Cor) Schalk. Visitation was held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. where the funeral service was held on Monday, September 29th at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
