Brownlee, Wenda; of Little Current and formerly of Palmerston passed away peacefully at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 in her 72nd year. Dear mother of Vicky and her husband Larry Lacroix of Palmerston, Robin Hedge and her husband John McClennan of Guelph, Shawn Hedge and his wife Tracy of Palmerston, Tania Hedge and Jim Scott of Lindsay, Maggie and her husband Dean Campbell of Cambridge, Chad Hedge of Ottawa and Jason Hedge of Palmerston. Cherished grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. Sister of Carolyn Brownlee of Ottawa. Predeceased by one daughter in infancy (1981), daughter Audra Hedge (1991) and 2 granddaughters Sadia Khan (1991) and Gabriella Campbell (2007). To honour Wenda’s wishes cremation has taken place. There will be a Celebration of Wenda’s Life at the Frank Lambier, Royal Canadian Legion Branch #409 Palmerston on Sunday, September 14, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy donations to Cats Anonymous at catsanonymous.ca or to the North Children in Care would be appreciated by the family.
