MCKENNA, Barb; It is with deep and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Barb on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at the age of 52. Barb was born in Oakville, Ontario on June 20, 1962. Left to mourn are her devoted Mother: Barbara Firek, her loving son: Shane McKenna and her three siblings, Peter, Kathy and Mike. Also left behind are her Aunt Christine and Uncle Jerry, nieces and nephews and my dear and wonderful friends. Predeceased by her father, Peter and Spencer, her beloved pet. Barbi loved animals and she particularly loved dogs. Family and friends are invited to visit at the McKERSIE-KOCHER FUNERAL HOME 114 Main St. E. Milton 905-878-4452 on Tuesday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
