Farrelly, Lyle; It is with great sadness that the family of Lyle Farrelly announce his passing on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at his home in Alma. Lyle will be missed by his wife and best friend Carol of 44 years. He was the proud father of three sons Darin (Sharlene), Dan (Lynne Hooper) and Andrew (Angie). Dear Grampa and Poppa to Stephen and Michael, Jessica and Alyssa and Jace and Lexie. Lyle is survived by his brother Cam, brothers-in-law Malcolm Harrison, Father Tim Harrison and sister-in-law Helena Harrison, as well as many nieces, nephews and other family members. Lyle is predeceased by his parents Amy and George, sister-in-law Sandy Farrelly, sister-in-law Shirley Farrelly and brother-in-law Graham Harrison. Visitation took place at the GRAHAM A. GIDDY Funeral Home, 37 Church St, Elora on Sunday, May 11th, 2014 from 2:00 – 4:00pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm. A funeral service was held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, May 12th at 11:00 am., Father Tim officiating, followed by interment at St. Mary & St. Joseph Cemetery, Elora.
