Cormack, Jean Margaret (nee Martin); Passed away peacefully, on Tuesday Feb 25, 2014, at Groves Memorial Community Hospital, Fergus in her ninetieth year surrounded by her caring nieces and nephews. Jean was the beloved wife of Gordon Cormack (March 4th, 1995), and daughter of the late William and Alice (Hughes) Martin. Predeceased by her siblings, Alice (Jim) Eveleigh, Agnes (Jack) Eveleigh, Robert (Iva) Martin, Mary(Stan) Goulding, Grace (Arthur) Dehling, infant sister Wilma Ruth, and Willa (Lyle) Rowe. Jean is survived by her sister- in-law, Alva Crawford of Barrie and predeceased by Edna Cormack, Mervin (Bertha) Cormack, Lorne (Mabel) Cormack, Albert (Rita) Cormack, Evelyn (Charles) Hawkins, Irene (R.V.) Evans, Mary (Hill) Allen, Bill Crawford and Reginald Crawford. Jean is lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, their spouses and their families, who will miss her loving way and contagious and happy giggle. Jean will be missed by her friend, Peter Jacobs and many other friends and staff at Heritage River Retirement Home. A special thank you for the tremendous care of Dr. Stickney and the staff of Groves Memorial Hospital and Heritage River Retirement Home, Elora. The family received friends at the Crawford Funeral Home 243 George St., Arthur on Saturday March 1, 2014 from 11 a.m. until noon. The funeral service was held from the Arthur United Church 101 Tucker St., Arthur on Saturday March 1, 2014 at 1 p.m. Spring interment Greenfield Cemetery, Arthur.
