Riddel, Doreen Jane; Suddenly at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus, surrounded by her family, on Sunday November 17, 2013 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Riddell (2009). Mother of Roy Tilley, John, Shirley and Mike Townsend, Sharon and Eric Sharpe, Linda and Bruce Peyton, Joan and Dave Adams, and Gordon Jr. Survived by sister Lillian Smith, son-in-law Roy Tilley, sisters-in-law Dorothy (Rae) Mast, Betty Riddell and Shirley Riddell. Cherished grandma of twelve grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Also remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by daughter Marjorie Tilley and son Lorne. By Doreen’s request, cremation has taken place and there will be a private interment of cremated remains in Maple Grove Cemetery, Dundalk. The Riddell family would like to thank the staff of Caressant Care Nursing Home, Fergus and Groves Memorial Hospital for all the love and care they gave Doreen. Remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
