O’Brien, Pansy Augusta (nee Farrow) – Of Rockwood, passed away peacefully at the Guelph General Hospital on Monday, August 12, 2013, in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Bernard O’Brien (1989). Loved mother of Susan (Keith) Myles of Guelph, and Paul O’Brien (Paul Bonello) of Toronto. Loving grandmother of Madeleine and Jessica. Pansy was the last surviving member of her immediate family, having been predeceased by her siblings, Garnet, Grace, Val, Jean, and George. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends were received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Friday (2-4 and 7-9 p.m.). Funeral Mass was celebrated at the Church of Our Lady Immaculate, 28 Norfolk St., Guelph on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. Interment St. Peter’s Cemetery, Oustic. Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre. Prayers were held at the funeral home on Friday at 8:00 p.m. Thank you to the doctors and staff at the Guelph General Hospital and St. Joseph’s Health Care Centre for the care and compassion shown to Mom.
