Brown, Donald Lipsitt – (Life member of the Erin Agricultural Society) Peacefully at the Avalon Care Centre, in Orangeville on Tuesday, July 16, 2013. Don Brown formerly of Erin, in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Helen McLean (June 4, 2013). Don and Helen were married for 70 years. Loving father of Garry Brown and his wife Eileen of Orton, Janice Gagne and her husband Henri of Hillsburgh, and Donna Coultrup and her husband Warren of Mooresville, N.C. Proud grandfather of Patti (Rob) Klein, Julie Smith (John Townsend), Kevin (Shani) Gagne, and Michelle (Donny) Burt. Great Grandpa to Wade, Natalie, Brooklyn, Bryanna, Brayden and Aedan. Predeceased by his parents George and Ethel Brown. Survived by his sister Helen Hudson of Weston. Predeceased by brothers Clarence, Lloyd, Orville, Clifford, Howard, and Leslie, and sisters Margery Hull, and Jean Wonch. Resting at the Butcher Family Funeral Home, 5399 Main Street, South, Erin, where the Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 20th at 1:00 pm. Interment, Fairview Cemetery in Acton.
