Van de Kamer, Ann. Ann passed away peacefully in the sunroom at the farm she loved so very much on Monday, May 6th, 2013. Hers was a very long and difficult battle that has thankfully now ended. Ann will be deeply missed by her very best friend, Suzie, her loving Golden Retriever. Her second best friend John is lost without her, but with the support of a loving family will in time find his way. Ann’s family and many friends will also find themselves in a bit of a fog, but that fog will lift in time and the sun will shine again. (Ann wouldn’t have it any other way.) Ann is survived by her son Dirk, his wife Adrienne, and their two wonderful children Maddy and Claire. Daughter Jill, her husband Tom Goudie, and their two special girls, Megan and Kate. Son John B, his wife Liubov, and their two delightful children Anya and Olivia. She is also survived by her loving sister Susan Walters. Her extended family of Peter Van de Kamer and Pamela of Paris, Ontario, Paul Van de Kamer of Kitchener, Ontario, Ellen and Ray Peters of Kingston, Ontario and Jenny and Wayne Huck of Guelph, Ontario. The family would like to thank Dr. Rick Gergovich for his many years of dedicated care to Ann, the many helpful hands of the PSWs and nurses for their support and care through this difficult time. A celebration of Ann’s life will be held at the Cutten Club in Guelph, Ontario on Friday, May 24th at 3 pm.
My beautiful Ann: How lucky I am to have found you. How sad I am now that you are gone. I will never stop loving you. – John
