Darroch, John Douglas Passed away peacefully with his family at his side, at the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington, on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at the age of 74. John Darroch, beloved husband of Claire Darroch (nee Turnbull). Dear father of Michael (Myrva) and Stephen (Andrea). Cherished grandfather of Catherine, Matthew, Spencer, Chandler and Alexander. John is survived by his brothers Harold Darroch (Betty) and Donald Darroch (Faye), sisters-in-law Betty Lamont, Ruth Brough and her husband, John’s cherished friend, Harold. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation was at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m., where a Service of Remembrance took place on Wednesday, January 30, 2013, at 1 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations made to the Juravinski Cancer Centre or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. www.smithsfh.com
