Kingshott, William (Bill) Arthur; 82, of Brampton Ontario, passed away peacefully at Brampton Civic Hospital on January 24th with his wife, Shirley and Grandson, Gregory by his side. A lifelong fan of Horseracing, he worried of its future and was quoted as saying, “I hope I live long enough to know if there will be racing after March.” As it came to be, an announcement securing racing, came the day before he passed. Bill had many interests in life; all sports, coached Lacrosse and Hockey in his hometown of Brampton, had many occupations; including the family owned “Coffee Shop” on Main St., Brampton. He will be missed and remembered often and leaves behind wife Shirley; son, Gary (Henrietta); grandson, Gregory, and a large box of trophies. He joins his daughter, Julie. Arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Rockwood Chapel. As per Bill’s wishes, private cremation has taken place, and no Funeral Service will be held. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home, 519-856-1100 or send condolences to www.gilbertmacintyreandson.com).
