McAndrew, Annie Josephine (née Flynn); Peacefully in her sleep at the age of 85 in the early morning of December 15, 2011. Annie was born in Ireland in 1926 to parents Ultan and Margaret Flynn, both predeceased. Married in Sudbury in 1956, Annie is predeceased by her beloved husband Edward McAndrew of Hillsburgh. Loving mother of Vincent McAndrew, predeceased and Patricia Blais (Daniel). Cherished grandmother of Andrew Blais. Dear sister of Eileen Coleman and predeceased by her sister Margaret and brothers Pat and James. Annie was a long time parishioner and member of the CWL at Holy Trinity Church. She was a member of the Sudbury YMCA and enjoyed the swimming program for many years. Annie was proud of her Irish background and was a member of the Irish Heritage Club in Sudbury. In recent years, Annie enjoyed the East Wellington Community Seniors Program in Erin, ON. She enjoyed the horse shows that her grandson Andrew attended over the past number of years and was a great supporter of his love of horses. A special thanks for the respite care provided by the Hillsburgh Rest Home. Donations in memory of Annie to the Hillsburgh Rest Home would be greatly appreciated. Rested at the Lougheed Funeral Home, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St., Sudbury, ON. Funeral Mass was held in Holy Trinity Church, 426 Burton Ave. on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at 10am. Prayers were at 3pm Monday.
