Marshall, James Edward (Eddie); Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener on Saturday, October 29, 2011 in his 91st year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Leslie Marshall (1986). Left to mourn his passing are his children: Nancy Holland (Brian), Colin (Jody), Glen (Dawn) and Gordon (Jodi) Marshall. Survived by his step granddaughter Tanya O’Toole (Mike), step great grandchildren Connor, Samantha and Aiden O’Toole, his grandchildren Amy Holland (Jeff Carter) and Christopher Holland (Mary Patterson), Sarah and Rachel McKenna – Marshall, Jordan, Sam, Thomas and Benjamin Marshall and Blair and Tristan Marshall. Also survived by his sisters-in-law Whipple and Marguerite Marshall and brother-in-law Frank Shuttleworth. Predeceased by his parents Alexander and Janet Marshall, his brothers William, Alexander and Donald and his wife Bernice Marshall, his sisters Mary and Mae and her husband Leslie Kirby, his father-in-law William Pirie, his brother-in-law Ewen Pirie and his sister-in-law Norah Shuttleworth.Special thanks to the staff at Leisureworld Elmira and the medical staff at Grand River Hospital for their excellent care giving on Dad’s behalf. Visitation will be held at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 37 Church St E., Elora, Ontario on Friday, November 4, 2011 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A celebration of Eddie’s life will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, 55 Church St., Elora, Ontario on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus or Grand River Hospital, Kitchener would be appreciated by the family.
