Ruth Hanna Brown (Nee: Pounder) of Fergus passed away suddenly at the Wellington Terrace on August 22nd, 2011 with her loving family by her side, in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Brown (Dec 4th,1989). Dear mother to Gary and his friend Mary Ireland of Kitchener, Sharon and her late husband Tom (September 8th, 2003) Gummerson of Guelph and Wayne and his wife Bonnie of Fergus. Ruth will be fondly remembered by her 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Herb and Elsie Pounder of Woodbridge and grandson Gary Brown (June 8th, 2011). Ruth will be fondly remembered by many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be held at the Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St. South in Fergus, on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be conducted in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, August 25th at 11am. Interment at Belsyde Cemetery.
