Mosure, , Rose: Passed away on June 17th, 2011 in her 87th year at Groves Memorial Hospital in Fergus. Leaving her husband Paul. Rose also leaves her sister Myrtle Black of Heritage River in Elora, her nephews William (Bill) Black and his wife Kathy and their daughter Kendall of Kitchener, and Bob Black and his wife Nancy, their son Jamie and stepdaughter Cara, of Winnipeg. Rose is also survived by brothers- in – law Allan (Joyce) Mosure of Belwood, Donald (Bonnie) Mosure of Elmira and George Mosure of Calgary. Rose was a special mother of the Drumm family- Michael, Terry Wilson, Larry, Danny, Anna-Marie Paul, Mary-Catherine Rider and Rodger. Also a dear friend of Eunice and Sonny Drumm. The Earngey children Bill, Barry and June were also considered special to Rose. Predeceased by her parents Russell and Maggie, her first husband James Cruden Rettie (June 22, 1975), and her sisters Margaret Milligan and Lillian Baker. Rose spent her whole life in Fergus, and was dedicated to her church and community. Rose was a member of the St. Andrew’s Presbyterian choir for 52 years. Rose was also a tutor at Victoria Terrace Public School for 15 years. Just this past week Rose was presented with a plaque for her 30 years of service with the Canadian Blood Services. Due to her cancer Rose had to resign from the Groves Memorial Hospital Volunteer Association, after over 20 years of service. Rose was also an avid Elora Mohawk Lacrosse fan. Friends visited with the family on Monday June 20th, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM and Tuesday June 21st, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. South in Fergus. A funeral service took place at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Fergus on Wednesday, June 22nd, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Interment at Belsyde cemetery followed.
