Quarrie, James; Following a brief illness on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at Groves Memorial Community Hospital in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Laura (nee Armstrong). Loving father of Scott and his wife Valerie and Dana and her husband Ron Shantz. Proud grandfather of Jocelyn, Benjamin, Clayton and Leah. Dear brother of George (Mildred), Charles (Dorothy), Marion Hunter (Dave) and Bill (Avis). Fondly remembered by Hazel Scott, Dunc (Marion) Armstrong and Doug (Janet) Armstrong. Predeceased by his parents Walter and Eleanor Quarrie. Resting at the Thomson Funeral Home. Visitation was held Sunday, June 5 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service was held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church (325 St. George St. W, Fergus) on Monday, June 6 at 11am. Interment at McKee Cemetery.
