McFarlane (Gimblet), Muriel Jean; formerly of Arthur but retired to Guelph, went home to be with her Lord, Sunday, October 17, 2010 in her 80th year. Beloved wife of George McFarlane, proud mother of Dr. Bob & Donna McFarlane of Mount Forest, Mary Ellen Wooddisse of Palmerston, Dave & Nicole McFarlane of St. George and Barb McFarlane of Guelph. Grandmother to Matt (Carly) McFarlane, Maggie (Lee) McFarlane, Andrew (Jessica) McFarlane, Rhonda (Dele) Wooddisse, Trish (Steve) Kelly, Josh (Taika) Wooddisse, Jennifer (Nathan) Fry, Danielle McFarlane, Kate (Todd) Ellis, Melissa Ellis, Luke Ellis and Ben (Kelsey) Elliott. Cherished GG to Aidan & Madelynn Kelly and Logan Fry. Predeceased by sons-in-law, Bill Elliott (2005) and Ron Wooddisse (2010), brothers Elwin (Wilma) Gimblet, Bert Gimblet, sister, Doris (Ross) Mainland and her parent’s Walker & Nancy Reid Gimblet. Visitation will be held Friday, October 22, 2010 at the Crawford Funeral Home, 243 George St., Arthur from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A celebration of Muriel’s life will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 11am from St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 149 Frederick St., East, Arthur. Interment of cremated remains Greenfield Cemetery, Arthur to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church or Wellington Hospice would be appreciated.
