Woodham, Hilda Marion (nee Gummerson); of Moorefield passed away peacefully at the Royal Terrace Nursing Home, Palmerston on Monday, October 18, 2010 in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Aubrey C. Woodham for 67 years. Dear mother of Anne and Wesley Reid of R.R.#3 Palmerston, daughter-in-law Carol Woodham of Edmonton AB. and the late Corporal Alan Woodham (1980), Angela and Uwe Claussen of Moorefield, Alwyn and Lori Woodham of Moorefield and Andy Woodham of Stratford. Loved grandmother and great grandmother of Heather Reid and Carlos Rojas, Alexander, Carmen and David of Temagami, Tracey Reid and Michael Minor and Samuel of Larder Lake ON, Holly and Philip Brown, Reid and Lachlan of Dartmouth NS, Catherine and Eric Leviten-Reid and Adlie of Saskatoon Sask.; Cory and Lorinda Woodham, Ashlyn and Abby of Calgary AB, Lee and Greg Campbell, Noah, Luke and Audrey of Edmonton, AB; Ben Claussen and his wife Sara, Brett Claussen, and Brady Claussen and his friend Kerri Branton;
Matthew Woodham, Ryan Woodham and Conner Woodham. Sister-in-law of Mary Gummerson, Viola Ekins of Woodstock, Marion and Doug Sibley of Woodstock and Jack and Betty Woodham of Sarnia. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her sister Frances and her husband Les Charters, brother Howard and his wife Audrey Gummerson and brother-in-law Carl Ekins. cremation has taken place. The family received friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Drayton on Thursday, October 21, 2010 from 1pm until time of service at 2pm followed by interment in Bethesda Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Palmerston Hospital Foundation or the Royal Terrace Residents Council would be appreciated by the family.
