Loughran, Neil C. of Harriston – passed away at Palmerston & District Hospital on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 in his 83rd year. Husband of the late Dorene Loughran and father of David Loughran and his wife Ruth of Harriston, Chuck Loughran and his wife Barb of Mount Forest, Garry Loughran of Harriston, and Raymond Loughran and his wife Joan of Arthur. Grandfather of Brenda Lee Laing, Bonnie Shantz, David Loughran, Brad Loughran, Bob Loughran, Tena Stortz, Shane Loughran, Eric Loughran, Nicholas Loughran, Jennifer Loughran and Stephanie Loughran. Remembered by his 24 great-grandchildren, his sisters Beverley Rabideau of Palmerston and Sylvia Ropp of Listowel and his brother Murray Loughran of Palmerston. Brother-in-law of Jean Loughran of Fordwich, Bernice Loughran of Thessalon, Kathleen Loughran of Palmerston and Janet Weidemann-Loughran of Mount Forest. Predeceased by his brothers Carl Loughran, Les Loughran and Maxwell Loughran and by his sisters Jewell Robinson and Gloria Brown. The funeral service was held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Sunday, July 25 at 2:30pm with Rev. Mel Sauer officiating. Interment in Harriston Cemetery.
