McTavish, Mirjam; Passed away peacefully at Groves Memorial Community Hospital on Friday, May 28, 2010 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Stewart McTavish (1981). Cherished mother of John (Brenda), Marilyn (Don) Griffiths and Gordon (Shelley). Proud Oma of Michael, Andrew, Robert, David, Dana, Kyle, Erin (Mike) and Sarah. Will be missed by her brothers Andrew Seehawer and Joe Seehawer and predeceased by her brother Gottart and sister Inge. Our mother and grandmother was a strong, independent woman who loved flowers, gardening and her family. Visiting was held at Thomson Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 1 from 10-11am. A service followed in the chapel at 11am. Interment at Belsyde Cemetery. In memoriam donations may be made to the Groves Memorial Community Hospital.
