Phillips, Doris Evelyn; Peacefully at Saugeen Valley Nursing Home, Mt. Forest on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Phillips (2003). Dear mother of Jim Phillips of Scarborough, Dr. Randy (Suzanne) Phillips of Dubai, U.A.E., Nina Hamilton of W. Kelowna, B.C., Rick (Kelly) Phillips of Damascus and Ted (Sandra) Phillips of Wasaga Beach. Loving grandma of fifteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Survived by her sister Louise Clark of Kearney. Predeceased by brothers Ralph and Ronald Wright, brother-in-law Alvin Clark and sister-in-law Frances Wright. The family received friends at the Crawford Funeral Home, 243 George St., Arthur on Friday, February 26, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service was held from the Crawford Chapel on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 11am. Interment Belsyde Cemetery, Fergus followed. Remembrances to the Alzheimer’s Society of Ontario or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be greatly appreciated by the family.
