Allan, Joan Alice; Passed away peacefully at the Grand River Hospital on December 25, 2009 at the age of 60. Lovingly remembered by her husband of 33 years, Raymond Littlejohn. Fondly remembered by her daughter Jeanie Motyl of Guelph. Much loved grandmother to Sarah and Carrie Motyl also of Guelph. Joan is survived by her sisters Helen (Roland) Anderson of Ottawa and Diane (Bob) Miller of Elora, and brother John (Peggy) Shafer of Inverhaugh. Predeceased by her parents Jean and William Shafer and brother Paul Shafer. Friends were received at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 37 Church St. East in Elora, on Sunday, December 27th from 7-9 pm. Funeral Service was conducted in the funeral home chapel on Monday, December 28th at 1pm. Interment took place at the Elora Cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be directed to the Canadian Cancer Society. Cards are available at the Funeral Home.
