Dickieson, George Raymond; Passed away peacefully at the Wellington Terrace on December 21, 2009 in his 91st year. Lovingly remembered by his wife of 65 years, Elsie Mary (Quarrie). Fondly remembered by his sons Gordon (Margaret) of Palmerston, Larry (Mary) of Palmerston and Robert of St. Catharines. Much loved grandfather to Raymond, Adam, Amy Kaufmann, Laura Bailie, Katie, Angel Mapletoft and Amanda Straw and eight great grandchildren. Survived by his brothers Bert and Neil. Predeceased by brothers Hugh and Lloyd and sister Elsie. Friends were received at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 37 Church St. East in Elora, on Wednesday, December 23rd from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Service was conducted from Knox Presbyterian Church, 51 Church St. in Elora, on Thursday, December 24th at 11am. Interment to take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Guelph at a later date. Memorial donations can be directed to the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, cards available at the Funeral Home.
