Soehner, Evelyn (Ev); Peacefully at her home in Fergus on Friday, October 9th 2009. Evelyn Soehner (Paton) aged 82 years. Beloved wife and friend of Carl for 62 years. Loving mother of Sharon Burns, Brian and his wife Cathy, Brenda and her husband Sandy Skeoch and Gary and his wife Lisa all of Fergus. Loved grandmother of Jonathon, Allan, Jessica, Kristen, Caleigh, Brandy, Ben, Scott and Aaron. Devoted great grandmother of Brody and Elijah. Ev is survived by her sisters Marion (Wilfred) Clark, Muriel (Ray) Stone and Doreen Gilbert and brother Neil Paton (Ingrid). Pre-deceased by her infant daughter Michelle and brother Bruce Paton. Evelyn is survived by a number of nieces, nephews and other family. She rested at the GRAHAM A. GIDDY FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 280 St. David St. S. Fergus. From 2-4 and 7-9pm on Tuesday, October 13 and 11am until 12pm on Wednesday, October 14 at which time the funeral service was held in the chapel at the funeral home. Followed by interment at the Belsyde Cemetery Fergus. Remembrances to the Groves Hospital C.T. Scanner or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
