Becker, Mary Ann; July 22, 1935 to October 4, 2009. Mary Ann Becker, peacefully at Guelph General Hospital in the 75th year of doing things her way. Her upbeat spirit, determination and even her feisty resistance will always be cherished and celebrated by her children, Rose Marie Becker, Marilyn and Verne (one of her favourite son-in-laws) Pharoah, Kathy Alessio, Heather and Keith (the other favourite) Martin, Joe and Mena Becker and John Becker. She also leaves a legacy of tomato sandwiches, Pepsi and an ear for all things that 23 grandchildren couldn’t tell their own moms and she was "Grandma Great" to many spoiled little ones. Siblings Cliff Faryon, Gloria Ferris and Carol Breese will always have a special place in their hearts for their "second mom". Still patiently waiting are Skippy the dog and her cats, Bitey and Little One. Happily reunited in heaven with her mom, Mary Faryon, her brother, Don Faryon, her grandson, Barry Townsend, brother-in-law Grant Ferris and her best buddy, Al Merkley. You are greatly loved and will be so missed by us all.
