Wright, Blanche; It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of their mother Blanche Wright on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus. Blanche Wright of Elora in her 84th year, beloved wife of the late Stewart Wright (1992). Loving mother of Brian (Carol) of Okotoks Alberta, Dan (Sandra) of Cambridge, Anita (Larry) Magnus of Elora, Bill of Calgary, Stanley of Elora and Sandra Wright (Bill) of Waterloo. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Frank, Jim, Pauline, John, Ryan, Paul and Jennifer and her great grandchildren Keegan, Rowen and Brennan. Sister in law of Leo and Hilda Wright, Joe and Evelyn Wright and Margaret and Jack Boland. Blanche is loved and survived by a number of neices and nephews and other family. Predeceased by her sister Hilda Thornton. Blanche was a member of the CWL for over 50 years and during that time served as President. Visitation was held at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 37 Church St. East in Elora, on Monday, June 29th from 2–4 & 7–9 pm. Funeral Service was conducted at St. Mary Immaculate Church, 267 Geddes St, Elora on Tuesday, June 30th at 11am. Interment to take place at the St. Mary & St. Joseph Cemetery, Elora. Memorial donations can be directed to Groves Memorial Hospital-CT Scanner, or St. Mary Immaculate Restoration Fund. Cards available at the funeral home.
