Ventry, Lorna G. (nee Linfoot); Surrounded in love by family and friends, Mom died at home with dignity on November 30th. She was in her 76th year. Awaiting her arrival are husband Ron, son Michael, sister Catharine, nephew Patrick and parents Lorne and Lucy. She is survived by son Mark (partner Rick Lackovic) and daughter Jane (partner Roger Gilhespy). Beloved and cherished Grammie to Olivia Katharine and Grace Marie, beloved sister to Patricia Hatch and loving cousin to Donna Gourlay. Much loved Aunt to Nancy, John Percy, Lizannie, Patty Jean, Suzie, Joanie Marie, and Diny. Great Aunt to Kelly, Brooke, Drew, Holly, Adam, Ryan, Jilly and Cole. Great, great Aunt to Aidan, Cohen and Elliot. Cherished friend to Gloria, Lona, and ‘Mary D’. Devotee to an assortment of cats and dogs. Respecting Mom’s wishes, a private graveside service was held Wednesday, December 3rd, 2008. A party to celebrate her life will be held in 2009.
