Atkinson, John James; at Guelph on Friday, November 21, 2008. John Atkinson at the age of 64 years (Formerly of Mount Forest). Always remembered by his daughter Darlene Trimble (James) of Rockwood; his grandchildren Devon, Joshua, Aiden; and his sister Sharon Becker (Bill) of Durham. Survived by his former wife Alvena Atkinson of Shelburne, his niece Julie and nephew Rob. Son of the late Sally and Charles Atkinson. Funeral services were held at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph, on Tuesday, November 25th, 2008. Cremation then inurnment Mount Forest Cemetery.
