Scott, Petronella (Penny); It is with great sadness that our family announces the loss of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother Penny Scott (nee Faulmann) at Groves Memorial Community Hospital, Fergus on Friday, February 1, 2008. She was in her 79th year. Penny fought courageously against her cancer with everything in her. She follows her husband Herbert (2001) and daughter Pamela (1960). Cherished and remembered by her best friend and daughter Debby and her husband Allan of Fergus and her sons Herby and his wife Denise and Anthony and his wife Chrystal all of South Africa. Greatly missed by her eight grandchildren Andrea Major and her husband Shawn Cox, Barry Fish and his wife Sarah, Colleen Fish and her partner Morgan, Gershwern Scott and his wife Tanya, Gary Scott and Robin, Alex and Alethea Scott. Loving great grandmother to six beautiful children; Sydnee and Brady, Lance and Leah and Ethan and Gavin. Fondly remembered by brothers, sisters, in-laws, nieces, nephews and many friends touched by her generous and overflowing heart. Friends will be received at the Thomson & Collins Funeral Home, 160 St. David Street North, Fergus on Thursday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service from St. James the Apostle Anglican Church, 171 Queen Street East, Fergus on Friday, February 8, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Canon Stephen Witcher officiating. Cremation will follow with interment of cremated remains later at Belsyde Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial donations to the Diabetes Society, Canadian Cancer Society of Groves Memorial Community Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
