Heinmiller, Samuel Laverne; of Palmerston, peacefully at the Royal Terrace Nursing Home on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Margaret (Pridham) Heinmiller for 29 years and the late Inez (Perschbacher) Heinmiller (January 30, 1976). Dear father of Noreen and her husband Steve Dewar of Australia, Barry Heinmiller and his wife Carolyn of Palmerston and Sandra Lloyd of Palmerston. Loving grandfather of Rhys Dewar and Evan Dewar and his friend Hayley Jones; Laird Heinmiller and his friend Amy Beierling; Julie and her husband Chris Thiessen, Bradley Lloyd and his wife Karsha and Lisa Lloyd and her friend Jeff McQuaid; and great grandfather of Kiara Dewar and Paul Marten Thiessen. Cherished Step father of Robin A. Pridham and his fiancé Josée Bonneville of Van Kleek Hill, and Nancy A. Pridham and her partner George Rollo of Toronto. Brother-in-law of Joan Spieran of Palmerston, Verna and Herman Schul of Elmira and Marjorie Perschbacher of Stratford. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Predeceased by one brother John Heinmiller and one sister Edna Ridler. Laverne served his Country Overseas with the R.C.E.M.E. for five years during the Second World War. To honour Laverne’s wishes Cremation has taken place. Rev. George Russell will conduct a Celebration of Laverne’s life in the Palmerston United Church Saturday February 9, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Palmerston Cemetery.
